FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention is used for drying of grain, corn, grain mixed with peat, animal materials mixed with grain materials, any other vegetable products and their combinations with size of up to 5 mm and humidity of up to 50%. Drying agent heated to 80-150°C is supplied as air flow, e.g. with a fan (not shown in the drawing) to the drier housing. In the housing the air flow together with drying agent owing to rigid plates is swirled spirally. Drying agent particles swirled with air flow are pressed to the housing. When being moved, they bump against fixed blades and get into discharge area to the housing axis, give moisture, and they are taken again to inner surface of the housing. Temperature of drying agent particles is maintained by friction of particles on inner surface of the housing and on each other, as well as owing to collision with fixed blades. Material drying speed is controlled owing to change of temperature of particles supplied to the drier housing inlet, owing to position change of plates, as well as change of the number of fixed blades and their shapes, as well as by changing the air volume supplied per time unit to the drier inlet.
EFFECT: improving operating characteristics of the drier.
