SUBSTANCE: separate image areas are observed on a user-selected image based on automatic analysis of the said image. A device menu function is then given for each of the several separate image areas based on user input. The said device menu function for each of the several separate image areas is configured to control device functioning when selected. This image can be given as a functional background image, such as wall-paper, which can function as a device menu or part of a device menu. Automatic analysis of the image may be carried out in the user device itself, as well as in a remote server which then sends the user the created menu.
EFFECT: possibility of a user creating a custom device menu in accordance with personal preferences.
