FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, particularly hygiene, and covers tooth brushing. An electric tooth-brush contains an electric motor, a vibrating element with a cleaning head, a motion translation mechanism transforming rotation of the electric motor into vibration of a vibrating element, and a control unit regulating the output characteristics of the electric motor. The vibrating element has a first resonance point wherein the cleaning head resounds in the first direction, and a second resonance point wherein the cleaning head resounds in the second direction, and in the first operating mode, the control unit regulates rotary speed of the electric motor so that to generate resonance in the first direction, and in the second operating mode, the control unit regulates rotary speed of the electric motor so that to generate resonance in the second direction.
EFFECT: development of technology to improve optionally the ability of the tooth-brush to remove dental deposit, and also to increase its medical effect.
