The electric toothbrush comprises a source of a motive force; a vibration element comprising a brush; a mechanism to transfer motion designed to convert output of the motive force source into vibration of the vibration element; and a control facility designed to control the output of the motive force source. The control facility controls repeating switching of the master frequency of the specified vibration element with high speed among many different frequencies for use of brush cleaning in process of transition in case of the specified switching of the specified master frequency.
