FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and may be used in production of processing and power generation equipment, in particular, shell rings of reactors and steam generators. Proposed method comprises casting of ingot and its hot machining. First, ingot is drawn, blanking with removal of ingot shear drag and bottom. Then, cut-to-length blank is subjected to transverse swaging, broaching and rolling to final sizes of reactor shell ring.
EFFECT: uniform properties and structure over shell ring height, maximum physical properties of alloy at points of maximum strain.
