FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to hybrid power plants. As per the first version, plant includes the first energy storage unit, traction drive motor, the second energy storage unit, control system, auxiliary power plant including motor and generator. Control system is intended for controlling the operation of auxiliary power plant on the basis of evaluation of motor and generator. As per the second version, system includes energy storage unit, power-operated motor, built-in energy source, control system which controls the operation of built-in energy source on the basis of evaluation of motor and generator. Energy storage unit supplies additional power to power-operated motor in addition to built-in energy source. As per the first version, the method involves the steps at which power is supplied to traction drive motor from the first energy storage unit, supply of additional power from the second energy storage unit; the first energy storage unit is charged by means of auxiliary power plant including motor and generator. Auxiliary power plant is controlled on the basis of evaluation of motor and generator. As per the second version, method involves the steps at which the built-in power generation system is started for charging the energy storage unit and for operation of traction drive motor; additional power is supplied on request to traction power motor from energy storage unit in addition to built-in power generation system.
EFFECT: increasing service life of energy storage units included in hybrid power plant.
