FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: system for inspecting moving object through image formation has: a first detection unit which can determines whether the object to be inspected is moving on the passage. A second detection unit which can determine whether part of the moving object to be screened has passed through the radiation scanning area in the passage and generates a passage signal after the first detection unit determines that the object to be inspected is moving on the passage. A device for forming an image through scanning which can emit radiation beams for inspecting the moving object through scanning; a control system which can generate a control signal for controlling the said image formation device in order to emit radiation beams in accordance with the passage signal from the second detection unit.

EFFECT: faster operation, increased safety and reliability of the system for inspecting moving objects.
