FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely to accessories for indication of required part position. System is proposed for detection or definition of processed part edge position on process route. System comprises reflector (80), which may be installed higher than processed part (20) on process route. According to one version of invention reflector (80) is installed in groove (140) of clamp (30), which is installed with the possibility of displacement for fixation of processed part (20). System also comprises source (74) of light beam and detector (74) of reflected light beam, which are arranged on one side of process route. According to another version of invention, light beam (76) may be directed at oblique angle via angle of process route to reflector (80). Interruption of light beam (80) changes position of detector (74), which indicates position of processed part edge relative to position of light beam source (74) along one axis of mutually orthogonal triple coordinate system.
EFFECT: provides for system reliability and accuracy.
