FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and unit of drilling plant impact device control, and to impact devices of drilling plant. With the help of impact device, impact pulses are sent to tool connected to drilling plant. Wave of compressing tension is created in tool, and its stretches from the first end to the second end, and at least part of compressing tension is reflected in the form of reflected wave that stretches from the second end to the first end of tool. Impact frequency of impact device is established proportionally to time of compressing tension waves distribution, which depends on length of used tool and speed of wave propagation in tool material. New wave of compressing tension is created with the help of impact device in tool, when one of preceding waves of compressing tension reaches the first end of tool. New wave of compressing tension and reflected wave are summed up to create summary wave that propagates in tool with speed of wave distribution in direction towards the second end of tool.
EFFECT: provides for constant contact of tool with rock and reduction of tool feed force.
