FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to electric-chemical treatment of items out of aluminium alloys and can be used in aircraft, space, and automobile industries, and also in construction and architecture, in pneumatic systems of control, in power engineering and other objects of current technology. The procedure consists in treatment of items at direct current in water solution of electrolyte containing g/l: sulphuric acid 7-140, oxalic acid 30-80, tartaric acid 5-20, citric acid 2-15 and boric acid 1-5. Also treatment is carried out at temperature of electrolyte 18-25°C in a stepped way - the first stage is performed at voltage 5-10 V during 0.5-5.0 minutes, the second stage - at voltage 15-28 V to formation of coating of required thickness.
EFFECT: upgraded corrosion resistance, hardness, and rate of film growth; facilitating its dyeing into various colours.
