FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for prevention of soils and subsurface waters contamination with toxic chemical elements, in particular to development of anti-filtration screens of industrial wastes burial and storage polygons, preferably, solid wastes of chemical and silicate productions and fuel-power complexes. Method includes preparation of screened surface, application of disperse mineral layer made of clay and drain layer onto prepared surface. Disperse mineral layer is made of serially laid layers of natural bentonite clay in calcium form with height of at least 10 cm and a layer of activating additive with height of at least 2.5 cm, then it is treated with 2% aqueous solution of lignosulfonate, drain layer with height of 10-20 cm and a layer of ion-exchange material with height of at least 1.5 cm are applied onto formed disperse mineral layer.
EFFECT: improvement of anti-filtration effect and sorption capacity of screen for prevention of soils and subsurface waters contamination with toxic chemical substances.
