FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: gear consists of corona (1) with concentric internal cylinder surface, hub (2) and vibration damping element in form of symmetrically arranged concentric rings (4, 6) tightly installed in circular grooves; also gear consists of a rim out of elastic material placed between the ring and internal surface of corona (1). The groove is made on internal surface of the corona on the side of its end. The ring is flexible. Each of flexible rings (4, 6) is made in form of at least two elastic coaxially arranged rings, external and internal ones, rigidly connected between them by means of at least two symmetrical flexible diametrically opposite elements with through central slot symmetrically located inside the element. Side surfaces forming the element are inclined relative to axis of the element. Also side surfaces of the slot are conjugated on ends with cylinder surfaces formed with through slots correspondingly arranged on external and internal rings.
EFFECT: increased damping properties of vibration damping element.
