FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: article being checked, which is included in the system - article; double-loop electromagnetic field converter, is exposed to a magnetic field created by the primary loop of the converter when current is passed through it at the same frequency as when rated values were obtained. The lower end of the primary loop is placed flush with or higher than the lower surface of the article being checked. In accordance with the position of the primary loop when obtaining rated values, amplitude of the induced electromotive force at the output of the converter is measured and integrity of the article is determined by comparing that value with the rated value.

EFFECT: faster operation and reliability of the method.
