SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Inserted part of the endoscope comprises connecting means adapted to releasably connect the input endoscope portion to the endoscope control unit, flexible section and a control channel configured to transfer mechanical control actions in the form of a torque from the endoscope control unit to bend the flexible portion. Control channel comprises a reducer configured to convert the torque transmitted from the endoscope control unit to limit flexion of the flexible portion. Modular video endoscopy system contains: endoscope control unit and input part of endoscope. Another version of the modular video endoscopy system contains: an endoscope control unit, an input endoscope portion and a video information module configured to connect to the endoscope control unit.
EFFECT: use of present group of inventions widens range of equipment.
