FIELD: construction and mining industries.
SUBSTANCE: proposed pneumatic vibration exciter consists of housing which accommodates hammer with through channel for communicating chamber with inlet hole and chambers with outlet hole, resilient member connected by one end with hammer and by other end with surface of housing. Switching element is made in form of valve with shutoff member for engagement with surface of housing including outlet hole and with shutoff member for engagement with surface of through channel of hammer. Switching element in form of valve is installed in chamber for engagement through shutoff member with surface of branch pipe with outlet channel including outlet hole and shutoff member with surface of hammer including hole of through channel. Hammer is installed in housing by means of elastic diaphragm.
EFFECT: simplified design owing to change of couplings and arrangement of resilient member.
