FIELD: drive units of vibration, vibration-percussion equipment, drive units for reciprocation motion.
SUBSTANCE: vibration exciter includes housing in which striker is mounted with possibility of working motion by action of forward member stroke acting at constant effort; reverse stroke chamber. The last after feeding into it working fluid from its source generates efforts exceeding effort of forward stroke member. At the end of reverse stroke said chamber communicates with atmosphere through pressure-reduction openings and it is connected with working fluid source and with atmosphere by means of ducts. In housing of vibration exciter there is reversing valve used for alternatively closing one of said ducts and for opening other duct. In variants forward stroke member may be in the form of forward stroke chamber communicated with working fluid source or in the form of spring. Pressure reduction openings may be formed in lateral surface of housing or striker.
EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability of exciter.
