FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pressure processing of metals, particularly to shaping of hollow items with bends out of tube stock. Tube stock is compressed to form elliptic cross-section with smaller axis length not exceeding diametre of smaller bend in finished hollow item. Hollow part is shaped out of tube stock by force impact on side surface of the tube stock simultaneously with internal filler pressure action, calibration of side surface and pipe bends of finished hollow item. Before hollow part shaping, a process cavity is formed at a flat side of side surface of tube stock and filled with filler, and the tube stock is shaped to form hollow item with pipe bends with their longitudinal axes crossing tube stock axis at opposite sizes and lying in the same plane with the stock axis. Further side surface of tube stock is spread to take cylindrical form. Pipe bends are opened within a plane perpendicular to longitudinal axis of tube stock.
EFFECT: extended product range of hollow parts due to possible manufacturing of pipe bends with longitudinal axes lying within a plane perpendicular to longitudinal axis of tube stock.
