FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ferrous metallurgy, particularly to technology of high-machinability steel reinforcement by cutting with elements enhancing steel machinability. Method of high-processability steel reinforcement by cutting for blanks with total content of one or more volatile metals out of bismuth, tellurium, lead of 0.10-0.25 wt % involves adding reinforcement elements in the form of copper-based alloy containing one or more indicated metals in total amount of 50-60 wt %, to the steel melt. Invention claims blank item out of high cutting processability steel with total content of 0.10-0.25 wt % of one or more metals out of bismuth, tellurium and lead, obtained by method described in p. 1.
EFFECT: reduced loss of reinforcing elements, enhanced distribution homogeneity of reinforcement element inclusions of optimal size.
