FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: screen-converter of ionising radiation contains luminescent material in matrix channels. The screen-converter is made in form of at least one microchannel plate containing matrix channels with light-impervious walls filled with luminophor. The axes of the channels are perpendicular to the surface of the microchannel plate.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and spatial resolution, broader functional capabilities due to detection of different types of penetrating radiation.
