FIELD: neutron radiation detectors.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to detectors of neutron radiation. The detector consists of a light-insulated casing in the form of a parallelepiped, in which a flat scintillation module is fixed, the optical fibers of which are connected by opposite ends to two photodetectors. The scintillation module has a multilayer structure and consists of seven layers, the central layer is made of a material containing 6Li, two scintillation layers of ZnS(Ag) with a thickness of 25-30 microns are adjacent to the top and bottom of the central layer, light-collecting layers are adjacent to the scintillation layers, consisting of closely spaced optical fibers fixed with an optically transparent elastic polymer, light-reflecting layers adjoin the light-collecting layers.
EFFECT: invention increases the efficiency of neutron registration.
