FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in destruction of electro-conductive materials with pulses of current of high density. Also substance of high electro-conductivity (for example, metal) in form of powder is mixed with liquid of high electric resistance (dielectric) facilitating tunnel effect for flow of current through produced mixture of liquid and powder. Electrodes are immersed into produced mixture and current pulse is advanced through mixture in the interval between the electrodes. Powder of substance is destroyed in this interval facilitating reduction of mixture composition in the interval between the electrodes, through which current was transmitted. At the expense of the rest of volume of liquid mixture powder of electro-conductive substance is again destroyed with current pulse. This procedure is repeatedly and cyclically carried out and heat energy is released.
EFFECT: raised efficiency of energy production process.
