FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method involves blasting metal billets having diameter of 0.2-0.7 mm by exposing to current pulses at density of energy transmitted to billet within the range of 0.9 of metal sublimation energy to metal ionization energy for time interval not exceeding 15 m in gaseous medium under pressure of 0.5-10 atm. Billets are made from metals and alloys having ionization energy-sublimation energy ratio at least equal to 0.9 and ratio of resistivities of metals in liquid and solid states at least equal to 1.
