FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neuroradiology and neurosurgery. CT angiography with bolus introduction of contrast substance is carried out. Contrast is introduced in two steps taking into account time of maximal contrasting of tumor tissue, arterial vessels and venous sinuses. At the first stage 30 ml of contrast are introduced at rate 1-2 ml per second under pressure 150 PSI by means of programmed automatic syringe-injector. At the second stage 70 ml of contrast are introduced 180 seconds after beginning of introduction of the first portion at rate 4.5 ml per second under pressure 300 PSI, and scanning in manual mode is started after bolus reaches level of great occipital foramen.

EFFECT: method extends arsenal of means for examination of basal and convexital meningiomas.
