SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to radiation diagnosis, cardiology, cardiac surgery, and can be used to visualize coronary veins using computed tomography. Perform a two-step introduction of a contrast media. First, approximately 80 % of the planned volume of the contrast media is injected at a rate of 4.5–5 ml/s. Then, the remaining portion of the contrast media is injected without pause, at a rate of 3 ml/s. After this, 30–40 ml of physiological solution is injected at a rate of 3 ml/s. Change the movement of the transporter table with the patient located on it: the venous phase of scanning occurs in the craniocaudal direction.

EFFECT: method provides high-quality images of the venous canal of the heart throughout its extent due to uniform contrasting of veins and the possibility of scanning this zone at the peak of contrast.
