FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention belongs to ophthalmology and can be used for neurotomy with simultaneous intratissual delivery of substances into optic nerve. Tool includes blade for neurotomy in shape of plate 0.9-1.1 mm wide and 0.2-0.4 mm thick. Blade is double-edged. Horizontal edge is 0.25-0.35 mm long and is inclined 30-50° to blade's longitudinal axis. Blade is mounted at the tip of cannule 20 G. Inside the cannule 20 G is needle 32 G, tip of needle protrudes to horizontal edge of blade.
EFFECT: tool provides possibility to perform neurotomy with simultaneous intratissual delivery of substances into optic nerve.
