FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metal processing by pressure and is intended for manufacturing of pipes with two flanges out of pipe stock. Pipe stock with bulge ends containing required metal volume for further moulding of flanges is obtained by sequential direct extrusion of blank halves in composite die. Two annular grooves adjoining end bulges are made at external surface of pipe stock, and rotary drawing of cylindrical part of pipe stock is performed in several shaping passes with chemical and thermal processing in between. Further both end bulges of pipe stock undergo direct extrusion in composite die in sequence to obtain flanges at pipe ends, and mechanical processing of flanges is performed.
