FIELD: electric engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electric engineering, in particular to asynchronous welding generator for manual arc electric welding. Asynchronous welding generator comprises short-circuited or phased rotor and stator with two windings, one of which is working winding and the other one is excitation winding. Excitation winding is connected to electric capacitors, parallel to which working windings of throttle magnetic amplifiers are connected, being arranged with the possibility of smoothly changing inductances due to variation of magnetic permeabilities of magnetic conductors of these magnetic amplifiers under effect of changing value of welding current, which subsequently flows around all control windings of amplifiers. Additional axial channels are arranged in stator pack. Excitation and working windings are installed separately from each other. One of windings is laid in the main slots of stator packet, and the other winding - in additional axial channels of stator packet.
EFFECT: improved thermal characteristics of asynchronous welding generator.
