SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises centralised electronic and computerised modules, transceivers, car control appliance, display unit, microcomputer module, GPS transceiving satellite navigation unit, additional transceiver and interface. Proposed method consists in distributing centralised electronic and computerised modules, transmitting identification data to centralised units, data processing, displaying train geographic position, identifying abnormal traffic conditions, activating signaling means mounted in cars as well as car braking appliances.
EFFECT: higher safety of railroad transport.
