FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to motor industry, particularly to control of internal combustion engines (ICE). Method of assisting the start of vehicle by means of addition of torque moment of the engine consists in the fact that when the above transport vehicle is started, in which there determined are parametres by means of which there detected is the start of vehicle, there measured is set point of operating frequency of engine of the parametres capable of finding the driver's wishes, there determined is the torque moment assisting the start of the set point of running speed, and the assisting torque moment is applied when transport vehicle is started from zero speed to non-zero speed. Set point of running speed is calculated as function of various values of engine inertia moment. Switch over from the first value to the second one is performed after the pre-determined difference between running speed and the measured running speed is reached. Device for assisting the start of transport vehicle by adding the engine torque moment during the start of the above engine includes the main device for determining the parametres by means of which there determined is start of transport vehicle, estimating device for estimating the set point of the engine running speed of the parametres capable of observing the driver's wishes, and calculation device for calculating the torque moment assisting the start of the set point of rotational speed so that the above assisting torque moment can be used when transport vehicle is started from zero speed to non-zero speed. Closing device calculates the set point of running speed as function of various values of engine inertia moment. Switch over from the first value to the second one is performed after the pre-determined difference between running speed of the engine and the measured running speed is reached.
EFFECT: invention allows assisting the start of transport vehicle owing to adding engine torque moment which makes it possible to obtain optimum operability.
