FIELD: sound amplification equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an audio amplifier for use with a limited power supply. The audio amplifier comprises a connector for receiving power; signal reception connector; a first DC-DC converter, the input of which is connected to the power receiving terminal; an electrical energy storage device connected to an output of the first DC-DC converter; a second DC-DC converter, the input of which is connected to the electrical energy storage device; an amplifier that is electrically connected to the output of the second DC-DC converter and receives power from the output of the second DC-DC converter, and the amplifier comprises an audio signal level controller connected to the signal receiving connector and to the amplifier, and the audio signal level controller is configured to monitoring the energy storage levels of the electrical energy storage device; and limiting the signal applied to the amplifier for amplification to ensure that the energy storage levels remain above a predetermined threshold.
EFFECT: stable power supply to the audio amplifier sufficient for the buildup of acoustic systems in conditions of limited power supply.
