METHOD OF DETECTING ELECTRONIC DEVICES ILLEGALLY INSTALLED ON SITE Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC H04K3/00 G01R29/08

Abstract RU 2392746 C1

FIELD: physics, communications.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to apparatus for radio monitoring electronic equipment and can be used to detect electronic devices, mainly small devices, illegally installed on a site (DIIS). Electromagnetic signals are received in a preset frequency range. Parametres of the received signals are measured: carrier frequency f0 and amplitude U0 of the signal at that frequency and recording the measurement results. Each signal is successively received at frequencies of the n-th harmonic fn, where n=1, 2, 3…m. Amplitude of the received signal Un on the n-th harmonic is measured and recorded. Further, amplitude values of the electromagnetic signal at frequencies corresponding to the harmonic are compared. If U0<U1, the received signal is excluded from further analysis. Satisfaction of the condition U0>U1>U2>…Um indicates presence of an illegally installed electronic device.

EFFECT: increased reliability and cutting on time for detecting electronic devices illegally installed on a site without preliminary data on parametres of electromagnetic signals of radioelectronic apparatus, which may be illegally installed on a site.
