FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of microporous carbon materials from lignocellulose material. The method of producing microporous carbon material involves mixing lignocellulose material ground up to 0.25-1.00 mm particles with solid sodium or potassium hydroxide at mass ratio 1:2-1:4 respectively, subsequent carbonisation and activation in an inert atmosphere while raising temperature at a rate of 1-10°C/min to 600-800°C, holding for 1 hour at final temperature, washing with acid solution and water and drying.
EFFECT: shorter and cheaper production process.
