SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel unique compounds of the class of peri-condensed heterocyclic systems - substituted 2H,8H-1,4-dioxa-9b-azaphenalene-2,8-diones of general formula I (I), where: R=H, R1 = Me (la); Bu (Ib); cHex (Ic); R=Cl, R1 - Me (Id); R=Br, R1 = Me (Ie), and their synthesis method by reacting amides of arypropiolic acids and monoalkyl-substituted malonyldichlorides in a medium of an anhydrous non-polar organic solvent while boiling with subsequent extraction of the end product. Minimum inhibiting concentration of 1b compound for E. coli and C.albicans is 1000 mcg/ml, and 1 mcg/ml for St. aureus.

EFFECT: obtaining compounds which have antimicrobial activity and can also be used for synthesis of novel biologically active derivatives.
