FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method involves using a piezoelectric transducer consisting of a vibration transducer housing with a post having a thread at the top end, as well as piezoelectric and insulation washers and an inertial mass, which are worn on the post, press the piezoelectric and insulation washers and the inertial mass to the base of the vibration transducer through a nut. The post is made separately from the housing in form of a bolt, is mounted on the base of the housing through a non-conducting bushing and is electrically insulated from the housing. The dielectric washer, followed by the electroconductive washer, piezoelectric elements, the inertial mass and nut are worn onto the bolt on the side of the thread and are electrically insulated from the housing of the vibration transducer. The piezoelectric elements are electrically shielded from the housing through the electroconductive washer and the inertial mass, thereby providing minimum capacitance between the vibration transducer housing and its output. All negative plates of the piezoelectric elements are connected to the inertial mass and with the output cable shield which is electrically insulated from the housing of the sensor. All positive plates of the piezoelectric elements are connected by a wire which passes through an opening in the inertial mass and is connected to the centre conductor of the cable which is the output of the vibration transducer.
EFFECT: higher measurement accuracy.
