FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas wet cleaning devices to clean gases in mechanical foam layer. Proposed device comprises housing 1 with gas inlet branch pipe, vertical exhaust pipe 3, separator 4 and swirler 5. The latter represents hollow truncated cone with cutouts 10 and vanes 8 rigidly secured on cone inner and outer surfaces. Note here that swirler 5 is mounted independently to axial reciprocate to adjust clearance between itself and pipe 3.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of cleaning and reduced hydraulic losses.
