FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wet cleaning of gases in foam layer. Proposed device comprises case partially filled with fluid, gas inlet branch pipe and vertical exhaust pipe. Exhaust pipe top end is equipped with separator while its bottom end is provided with swirler with vanes arranged regularly along pipe surface on vane mounts. Said mount is shaped to truncated hollow cone mounted in axial opposition to exhaust pipe bottom end and with annular clearance there between. Note here that vanes are rigidly secured on cone outer and inner surface. Cutouts are made in cone walls partially immersed in said fluid. Note also that additional pipe is rigidly secured to cone top edge and closed from top. Through holes are made in walls of said pipe at the distance making 1/3 of height from bottom edge along multistart, preferably, three-start, spiral.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of cleaning.
