FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device relates to wet cleaning of gases in mechanical foam layer. Proposed device comprises casing with gas feed pipes and vertical exhaust pipes with top ends equipped with separator and their bottom ends provided with swirlers composed by inclined vanes equally distributed over exhaust pipe circle, said pipes being partially dipped in fluid. Note here that exhaust pipes are fitted aligned one into another with ledges at their bottom and stopped by circular bottoms connecting bottom ends of said ledges to central pipe wall. Fluid vessels are formed in clearance between exhaust pipes. Swirler vanes are partially dipped in said vessels. Tangential through holes are made level with the latter in central pipe wall. Exhaust pipe top ends, smoothly bent outward, are secured in separator. Every said vessel is communicated with independent collectors of fresh fluid feed via hydraulic locks.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of gas cleaning at preset efficiency.
