FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in chemical industry for producing emulsions and suspensions with homogeneous highly-dispersed composition. Proposed mixer consists of several chambers representing a rectangular parallelepiped with inlet and outlet branch pipes arranged on its opposite face sides. Streamwise first chamber has at least four outlet branch pipes. Every intermediate chamber has the same number of inlet and outlet branch pipes. The same number of inlet branch pipes are arranged on face side of streamwise final chamber. Extreme and central branch pipes of previous chamber are connected via pipelines with central and extreme inlet branch pipes, respectively, of streamwise next chamber. Every chamber is furnished with ultrasound transducer incorporating acoustic wave concentrator with its outlet end face accommodating radiating plate.
EFFECT: emulsions and suspensions with homogeneous highly-dispersed composition.
