FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building. Proposed impact device comprise working tool, control valve, working chamber accommodating transfer piston that travels towards tool axis to press it in lengthwise direction by fluid pressure. Fluid pressure acts on transfer piston so that lengthwise load pulse is generated in said tool. Control valve comprises inlet and outlet valves to forces fluid into impact device and movable switch. Control valve has channels to re-direct fluid from inlet to outlet channels and visa versa to alternate fluid feed into working chamber to act on transfer piston and to force fluid therefrom. Time working fluid pressure acts on transfer piston in is regulated to control load pulse duration.
EFFECT: possibility to adjust load pulse duration.
