FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method of determining coefficient of rigidity of the heel involves determination of the load on heel in the lower part of the shoe in phase with the front push on a computerised EMED installation; determination of the angle of inclination of the plane of the heel to the support as a time function using a high-speed photography technique with a motion-picture camera; determination of deformation parametres of the heel part in the lower part of the shoe depending on the applied load at different angles of inclination of the heel to the support on specially made stand; determination of the load acting on the heel part depending on the angle of inclination of the heel to the support using a graphical analytic method; determination of the time characteristic of the coefficient of rigidity of the heel part in the lower part of the shoe, its analytical expression in form of a polynomial for use in a second order differential equation with variable coefficients of the motion of the body of the person which was solved using Math CAD software.
EFFECT: more accurate determination of the coefficient of rigidity of the heel part of a shoe.
