FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic drive of automatic fast-operation circuit breaker comprises magnetic conductor, armature and control coil, extra coil, capacitor and boosting contact connected in series with said extra coil. Electric circuit of extra coil is separated by switch with one normally-open and one normally-closed contacts with electric circuit of capacitor and boosting contact connected in series.

EFFECT: faster operation to due reduced time of drop of residual magnetic flux of magnetic circuit.
