FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology and can be used in treatment of patients with operated glaucoma with earlier implanted Ahmed valve drainage. For this purpose transconjunctival puncture of drainage tube in direction of its platform with further introduction of medication is performed. After that through the same needle additionally introduced is physiological balanced solution in volume corresponding to drainage tube and valve chamber volume.
EFFECT: method allows to increase treatment efficiency due to creation of high local concentration of medication in zone of eye-bulb posterior pole simultaneously with preservation of intraocular pressure compensation, as well as considerable reduce trauma of medication introduction into sub-Tenon's space.
