FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgical ophthalmology, and can be applied in performing anti-glaucomatous operations. For this purpose implantation of drainage platform into sub-Tenon's space is carried out. After that medication of neuroprotective action is introduced into drainage tube opening through cannula. Then, in volume, corresponding to volume of tube and valve chamber of Ahmed drainage physiological balanced solution is introduced. Tube end is implanted through injection tunnel into anterior chamber and fixed, operation wound is hermetised.
EFFECT: method allows to prevent complications caused by difference of intraocular pressure in course of such operations due to creation of high concentration of neuroprotective medication in sub-Tenon's space in zone of eyeball posterior pole.
