FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method of removing sulfur and sulfur-containing compounds from various flow with the help of iron carbonate absorbent. Proposed invention covers the method of removing sulfur and sulfur-containing compounds from sour gas of drill well, various flows with the help of iron carbonate. Note that, in compliance with one version, iron carbonate is finely ground and distributed over drill fluid circulated in drill well. In compliance with second version, aforesaid flows are combined with oxygen-containing gas and water steam prior to feeding into absorbent layer, while, in compliance with third version, fluid or gas flow are forced through iron carbonate layer in atmosphere of damp air. Absorbent recovery from iron carbonate used for removing sulfur and sulfur-containing compounds from sour gas of drill well, various flows consists in subjecting iron carbonate to effects of damp air or oxygen and water steam during absorption.
EFFECT: efficient absorption of sulfur and sulfur-containing compounds from various flows.
