SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cigarette package. Cigarette parallelepiped-shaped package comprises outer package (3) divided into two parts (17, 18) jointed together by lengthwise turn line (19) passing along one of two side walls (7, 8). Every part (17, 18) that forms compartments (20, 21) has sizes that allow accommodating parallelepiped-shaped box (22) filled with cigarettes (2). Outer package (3) is closed by cover (10) that can swing on crosswise band (16) between closed position, that is contact with box ends (22), and open position whereat boxes (22) can readily move aside relative to lengthwise turn line (19).
EFFECT: safe cigarettes after opening package.
