SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a water treatment device and method. The water treatment device has a floatation zone (c), a membrane filtration zone (e) and discharge apparatus (d). The floatation zone (c) and the membrane filtration zone (e) have a common dividing wall (P), which has a hole (o) in its bottom part for direct passage of floatation water into the membrane filtration zone (e), which enables to supply the membrane with floatation water from bottom upwards in filtration phase and in washing phase.
EFFECT: invention increases rate of treating water and simplifies servicing of the installation without considerable increase in operating costs.
