FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to purification of fluids by flotation and can be used for purification and making of drinking water. Proposed method exploits floating particles and comprises mixing step whereat floating particles are added to fluid being purified. Then flotation is effected whereat floating particles flow upward to be separated from the fluid. One flocculating polymer agent is bonded to a portion or to entire surface of floating particles.
EFFECT: simplified selective separation of contaminants.
