FIELD: textile industry.

SUBSTANCE: method includes treatment of material with solution of fluorine-containing compound and further removal of dissolvent. Fluorine-containing compound is represented by 2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,7-tridecafluoro-N-[3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl]-heptanamide, with structural formula of CF₃-(CF₂)₅-C(O)-HN-(CH₂)₃-Si(OC₂H₅)₃. Dissolvent is represented by weakly polar organic dissolvent from the following row: ethyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, acetone, tetrahydrofuran, toluene or supercritical carbon dioxide. Material is cloth or item of cloths of the following row: cotton, wool, wear-jacquard, jeans, polyester cloths. After removal of dissolvent, water-repellent agent may additionally be fixed through treatment with hot air or by means of glasing. Invention provides for imparting the material with effect of superb water repellency, characterised by value of contact angle of soaking with water of at least 120° as drop slides along material surface without wetting, besides produced protective coating is resistant to actions of washing, and superb water repellency effect of washed materials is recovered by means of temperature treatment. Treated textile materials assessed by point scale of method "ZM" have very good oleophobic properties.

EFFECT: method is easy to realise and does no require signification costs.
