FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to abrasive processing and can be used in production of flexible abrasive tool used in construction for processing various materials. Glass mesh with 1.5 to 3.5 mm-cell impregnated with powder phenol binder is used as a base in producing waterproof emery paper. Said mesh is heated to 90°C to 130°C and kept at this temperature for 1.5 to 3 h. Then binder and abrasive material are applied thereon.
EFFECT: longer life, higher efficiency.
