FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: solar power station includes photoelectric plants continuously watching the Sun and arranged in the form of rectangular grid. Distances between neighbouring photoelectric plants in north-south direction and in west-east direction are determined on the basis of the ratios being the function of geographical latitude of the location station of solar electric station. The area of the ground, which is required for arrangement of photoelectric plants, is determined depending on the latitude of operating place of the power station and dimensions of photoperceptive surface of the plant.
EFFECT: maximum efficiency of conversion of coming radiation to electric energy at minimum area of the ground surface, which is required for arrangement of solar power station.
